Functionality
There are several elements of MOS: mobile part, order distribution module and managing-reporting module.
The mobile part of application is based on Windows Mobile technology. Program is intended to support sales representatives in a whole range of their work activities: client management, visits planning and registering, including products existance and prices, POS, loyality programs, orders and promotions. Application contains well-developed module for diagnostics and reporting. Server data exchange has been optimized for efficient data distribution. Fully automated synchronisation process is initiated by representative.
Order distribution module is associated with mobile devices data exchange and starts immediately after succesful synchronisation. Configurable order distribution is able to use email, fax or FTP protocol (for EDI files). Notification module can apprise administrator in case of sytem failure.
Managing-reporting module was built in ASP .NET technology. It allows to manage all database data starting from defining own profile ending with representive data correction. Reporting system contains modules for diverse representative-input data analysis, i.e. merchandising data analysis module, orders analysis module, sales-out module, representative activity analysis module.
Two-channel data access is ensured by independent connection providers. Communication hardware is fully redundant.
